MULTIPLE SHARPENING
We use always original production programs and disks for the sharpening of our tools. We sharpen with a minimum reduction and mostly many times. This results in high economy of utilization of our monolithic milling cutters.
ECONOMY OF SIDE MILLING WITH HIGH AP
From our viewpoint as a manufacturer of monolithic tools, it is also possible to assess the situation as follows:
The corner radius or high-speed feed D.10mm milling cutter (on the left) removes all of the material with its face only. The corner milling cutter removes material with its complete cylindrical part, which becomes blunt uniformly after burrowing within full depth at so called peeling milling (on the right). There is a great difference in both service life and productivity. For that reason, we prefer side milling with high Ap and Ae wherever possible.
